The X²O Badkamers group has 29 showrooms in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. The head office is located in Ghent and the warehouse is located in Evergem.
The Challenge:
How can you reach everyone with all these locations and languages? How do you communicate with internal or specific groups?
Not every employee has their own email address. Previously X²O Badkamers shop managers passed on the information to the employees, but more steps means less correct or smooth information. In addition, there was some loss of information due to the translation problem.
The Solution and Results:
X²O Badkamers launches Speakap as an employee app, after asking other retailers how they approach internal communication.
The employee app can communicate efficiently and effectively about turnover figures, new products, price changes and personnel changes. In the showrooms, people can talk directly to store employees via the staff app and invite them to events. Moreover, there is room for the human side, with good images being shared in the form of holiday photos or fun moments in the shops.
