According to a survey of CEOs by the Ark Group, almost 95% of them believed that successful internal communication was the most important factor in success. Surprisingly, only 22% believed that their own company's internal communication was up to par. David Grossman, in his book "The Cost of Poor Communications," indicated an average loss of $62.4 million per year for companies employing around 100,000 due to inadequate internal communication.
