Real-Time Updates: How HNO Medic Keeps Its Frontline in the Loop

Written by Team Speakap | Apr 28, 2023

How do you instantly communicate with frontline staff in the health sector? How does important and time-sensitive information reach the right person at the right time?

Hear from HNO Medic about how an employee communications app helped to quickly and efficiently reach their frontline workers. HNO Medic partnered with Speakap to create a mobile-first branded employee engagement platform that mirrors the organization's structure and helps every employee connect in real-time.

My name is Karina Simeria. I am a co-owner of the HNO Medic. We are a network of ENT doctors in Germany and are currently located in Munich, Frankfurt and Stuttgart.

By getting more involved with Speakap we have actually learned a lot as well. We have the individual groups as sub-groups. That means, we have the individual locations, in which the permanent teams communicate. Information about diseases can also be easily shared, as well as important information that is needed the next morning.

Expansions Manager and Project Manager

The biggest advantage, now that we have become bigger, is staying in touch with everyone.

MFA Trainee

I was trained straight away in the first week. I thought that was pretty cool, because you are always in contact with the others, especially if you have questions,  since I'm still a newcomer. Completely new. I thought it was good, that I always had someone I could contact when I had questions or had problems.

What we often noticed earlier, what didn't go well in the communication channels
or with our communication channels, was simply the timing.  Some staff member misses the train and arrives half an hour later. Then somehow this is communicated by email and the other staff member who waited in front of the locked door of the surgery room did not receive the message. Things like that have of course ended up in loss of revenue.

In our company everyone works with Speakap. We are 170 people in total, who have to be guided somehow in a way of communication, and I think it's just the best way to reconcile everything.
